At Weinstock, our investment size varies depending on opportunity and market conditions. We generally seek core real estate investment opportunities with a minimum of $10 million — but most often, we want investments sized in the $40 million range.
Weinstock does look to purchase core-plus and value-added assets if market conditions and variables are conducive to providing the necessary risk-adjusted return. However, we may consider smaller investments that offer opportunities in a new market, solidify a bond with an existing partner, or enhance an existing portfolio.
Weinstock has always been a builder; it is in our blood. We build in different markets at different times, sometimes cyclical and sometimes counter-cyclical to the market. We look for both un-entitled and entitled land. Most of our land acquisition these days has a multi-family focus or component.
